  Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher LLP is looking for an experienced Recruiting Manager for its Washington, D.C. office. The Recruiting Manager plays a critical role for the office and the firm in supporting attorney talent acquisition. The focus will be on-campus recruiting at premier law schools, the Summer Program, judicial clerk and lateral attorney recruiting and the orientation and training of new lawyers. In this capacity, the Recruiting Manager works closely with the Washington, D.C. Hiring Partner and the Gibson Dunn Chief Recruiting Officer as well as with attorneys on various committees. The Recruiting Manager is an active member of the Gibson Dunn Washington, D.C. Diversity Committee and assists with firm wide diversity initiatives and events. The person in this role also is involved in general outreach and retention efforts with existing associates.
   
  The Washington, D.C. Recruiting Manager will report to the firm wide Chief Recruiting Officer and manage the legal recruitment efforts of the office which include the following:
 
  • On-campus recruitment program
 
  • Summer Associate program
 
  • Judicial clerk recruiting
 
  • Lateral recruitment efforts
 
  • Manage Washington, D.C. recruiting staff
 
  • Maintain relations with law school career centers and search firms
 
  • Prepare annual departmental budget and track expenses
 
  • Provide support to Diversity Committee initiatives
 
  • Statistical reporting for office recruiting efforts
 
  • Orientation of summer, new and lateral associates
 
  • Liaise with Associates Committee on new associate integration
 
  • Communicate regularly with Washington, D.C. Hiring and Diversity Committee members and Chief Recruiting Officer
 
  • Attend annual Gibson Dunn Hiring Committee Spring Meeting
 
  • Attend Washington Legal Recruiting Administrators Association meetings and events
   
  This position requires a minimum of five years legal recruiting experience. Candidates must be able to work in a fast-paced, professional environment and as part of a team. A four-year college degree required.
