Ms. Nash has over two decades of concentrated experience in the area of legal professional development. As a Senior Consultant with Shannon & Manch, she develops curriculum and presents seminars, programs, and workshops on a wide variety of professional development topics, including leadership development, strategic career management, maximizing effectiveness, promoting effective interpersonal communication, generational themes, team-building, networking, coaching skills, interview training, and achieving career/life balance. As a counselor and coach, she supports lawyers through the self-assessment, career exploration, and the transition process. Michelle has written numerous articles on career development and is one of the contributing authors to The Lawyer's Career Management Handbook: Your Bridge to a Satisfying Career published by West. Prior to Shannon and Manch LLP, she was a name partner in the professional development consulting firm of Briggs & Nash, and worked in the career development offices of The George Washington University National Law Center, and Catholic University Columbus School of Law. Ms. Nash holds a master's degree in Student Development and was awarded a graduate fellowship that allowed her to conduct research and focus on career issues for the American University's Career Center. Michelle has studied at the DC Improv and draws from her experiences to develop innovative and unique programs that are interactive and engaging. She is a certified MBTI® Master Practitioner and has worked with the inventory for over 22 years. Michelle is also qualified to administer and interpret numerous other assessment inventories including the Strong Interest Inventory, CPI 260®, DiSC®, and the CISS®.
