Prior to joining Shannon & Manch, LLP, Ms. Briggs was a name partner in Briggs and Nash, a professional development consulting firm and principal with Amy T. Briggs Consulting. Her career has included positions as Director of Legal Career Services at two Washington, DC area law schools as well as Director of Legal Recruiting and Training at the D.C. office of a national, multi-office law firm. Ms. Briggs has authored numerous articles, chapters and books on a variety of topics relevant to the legal career counseling and recruiting field. Her first book, Degrees of Difference: A How-To Guide to Choosing a Law School (NALP), was published in 1998. Amy holds a master's degree in Counseling and a bachelor's degree in Economics from the University of Virginia. |
