What will it take to reach the next level? Individual coaching is designed to support lawyers in identifying developmental needs and setting goals to address them. Coaching can be an important success strategy for a wide array of issues, including:

- Setting goals to enhance supervisory and managerial skills
- Advancing time management and organizational skills
- Promoting effective interpersonal communication
Coaching plans are always unique, but include these elements:
- Complete assessment
- Examining and clarifying organizational expectations
- Determining factors that will enhance or inhibit success
- Setting priorities
- Defining strengths and areas for development
- Setting specific, attainable, and measurable goals
- Developing an action plan and time line
- Developing a strategy to measure success
What is right for me?
There is no set pattern for the coaching process. To be successful, each program must be tailored to the needs and interests of the individual. Early meetings should be frequent enough to gain momentum, while ongoing meetings will keep strategic plans on track. Coaching services are provided in one-on-one, confidential sessions held in person or via telephone. We offer the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator® and the Coaching Report for Leaders® inventories along with assessment tools of our own design, support materials that assist in charting progress, and access to our web-based resource materials.
